How I can help as a professional home organiser

You might know exactly what you want help with, or you might just know that something isn’t working.

I start by understanding what feels difficult, what you need from the space and how you naturally use it.

The examples below are some of the ways I can help — but I’m not limited to a fixed list or one way of working.

However complex your situation or your family’s needs may feel, I’ll take the time to understand the whole picture and work out where I can make the biggest difference.

Home Reset Sessions

Sometimes you know exactly what needs tackling, but getting started — or getting it finished — feels overwhelming. Other times, you just know that something (or what feels like everything) in your home isn’t working and you’re not quite sure why.

A Home Reset gives you dedicated, practical support to make meaningful progress. Depending on what you need, we might declutter, organise, create clearer categories, rethink where things live, simplify routines, sort donations or selling, or create systems that are easier to maintain.

We can work together, or I can work for you where appropriate. You can be as involved as you want or need to be.

£40 per hour. Sessions are usually 3–6 hours.

Paperwork & Home Administration

Paperwork can quickly become overwhelming, especially when there’s no obvious system for what to keep, where things should live or what needs dealing with next.

I can help you sort through what you already have, reduce what you no longer need and create simple systems so important information is easier to find.

We can also look at the everyday admin that keeps getting lost or postponed and find practical ways to make it easier to stay on top of — without creating another complicated system to maintain.

£40 per hour.

Moving Home Support

Moving home creates a huge number of decisions at once, and it can quickly become overwhelming.

I can support you before, during or after a move — from decluttering and deciding what genuinely needs to come with you, to organising belongings into sensible categories, packing or unpacking, and setting up your new home so things have practical places from the beginning.

I can also help with the practical side of the move: measuring spaces or boxes, working out what will fit, researching removal or shipping options, helping prepare items for selling or collection, and breaking the whole process into manageable steps.

The aim isn’t just to get everything from one home to another — it’s to reduce the mental load and help the move feel more organised and manageable.

£40 per hour.

Compassionate Home Clearances

Clearing a home after bereavement, downsizing or another major life change can involve far more than simply sorting belongings.

I can help you work through things at a pace that feels manageable and respectful — separating what needs to be kept, passed on, donated, sold, recycled or disposed of, and helping you make decisions without rushing.

Where useful, I can also help research suitable donation routes, realistic selling options and practical next steps, with the aim of reducing waste and avoiding unnecessary items going to landfill.

Planning ahead? I can also help you gradually reduce possessions, record the stories behind meaningful items and make things easier for your family in the future.

Online Support

Sometimes you don’t need somebody physically in your home — you need clarity, accountability and a practical plan.

Online sessions can be used for decluttering guidance, paperwork, planning an organising project, creating routines, troubleshooting systems that aren’t working, or simply helping you work out where to start.

You can show me the space on camera or send photos beforehand, and we can talk through what’s getting in the way and turn it into clear, manageable next steps.

£30 per hour, paid in advance.

Talks & Workshops

I also offer friendly, practical talks and workshops for community groups, organisations and events as a professional home organiser.

Topics can include decluttering, creating manageable home systems, reducing overwhelm, ADHD and neurodivergence, and finding ways to organise that work with real life rather than against it.

I keep things relatable, supportive and practical — with ideas people can actually take away and use at home, rather than lots of rules about how an organised home should look.

Please get in touch to discuss your group or event.

Neurodivergent-friendly support

I’m ADHD and autistic myself, but I know my experience is only one experience.

Neurodivergence can affect organisation in lots of different ways — decision-making, energy, focus, working memory, sensory needs, time, motivation, visibility of belongings and how easy something feels to put away.

That’s why I don’t assume a particular system will work just because it’s labelled “ADHD-friendly” or “autism-friendly”.

I’ll take the time to understand what works for you, what creates friction and what feels manageable, then adapt the way we work and the systems we create around that.

If you’re having a low-capacity day, we can adapt the session too — perhaps reducing the number of decisions you need to make, working on practical tasks I can do independently, or simply changing the plan for that day.

There’s no expectation to work at a particular pace or make decisions in a particular way. The aim is to reduce pressure, not add to it.

Other services are tailored to the project and quoted individually.
